Our Leadership Team!

My name is Dan Figler, and I currently serve as a church Elder at Valley View Baptist Church. My wife, a son, and two daughters complete my family. I first came to Valley View in 2003, intrigued by sound Biblical teaching. I currently teach small group Bible study. Our church body is like family to me, and I truly enjoy delivering God's word for all to hear so that we can all be a beacon of light to the community.

My name is Rob Oberle, and I currently serve as a church deacon, and in in the children's ministry, and as Vacation Bible School Director. I came to Valley View in 2003 and shortly after was baptized and joined the church in 2004. I enjoy teaching the children about our Lord and Savior. As well as learning from the children.

My name is Lisa Ernst and I serve as Valley View's Treasurer and volunteer in the Children's Church Ministry. Additional I am an integral part of our daycare that we provide here, working behind the scenes and one-on-one with our children. I am one of the charter members who made my public profession of faith through full immersion baptism here at Valley View. Because I have found the joy that comes from salvation, it is my desire to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others.

My name is Gina Figler, and I am the Church Secretary and a Children's Church teacher at Valley View Baptist Church. I have a wonderful husband and three amazing children who also are members here. After my Baptism, I became a member in 2007 and have thoroughly enjoyed all the God-centered activities I have been able to partake in like our Vacation Bible Schools, Easter Egg Hunts, and our weekly children's Bible studies program. Valley View is an extension of my family, and I can't imagine honoring our Lord anywhere else but here.

Hello, I’m Rebecca Hanes (AKA Becca). Although I have been a believer since a young age and baptized at another church, I have been joined in Covenant as a member here at Valley View since fall 2004. I joyfully serve as a member of the Stewardship Council, the Women’s ministry leader and also lead adult bible study on Wednesday nights. I also enjoy helping with our annual VBS, putting on rummage sales, Easter egg hunts and organizing a new fall tradition of Trunk or Treat among many other fun events throughout the year! The Lord is my Shepard and I love serving here among His believing body. We seek to honor the Lord and really do have a great time planning, serving, worshiping and growing together as a family! We are looking for ways to Connect, Grow and Serve amongst ourselves as well as our community this year and following the lead wherever the Lord has our path laid out to discover! As a woman, as a man, as a single, as a couple, as a youth or as an adult, or as an entire family…come as you are and join us for worship!!
